Do not use this guy, he's a scammer! Matthew Rende (broker) has unethical business practices. This agent put some tricks on me and I feel certain he advised the seller not to sell because she could get more money. During a property sale, he supposedly assisted both myself (buyer) and seller. Following a glitch in the sale for deed, he informed me--several times not to go through with the sale. One evening, he broke down the pricing and told me the seller would only stand to gain a small amount of money on the sale--after his fees. Soon after, he notified me that he could not figure out how to amend the contract for the glitch, but told me if he cancelled it, he would give me the seller contact information along with her attorney's contact, so I could finish the sale. I unknowingly accepted. He sent me the cancelled contract by email the next afternoon, but he did not include the contact information for the seller and attorney. I asked for it. Two hours later late on a Thursday, he sent response, that the seller did not want to sell. That was it. Following that instance, he would not respond to email, call, voicemail, or text. This situation appears to be shady. I have to fight to get my escrow money back, to the point of contacting the underwriter in efforts to find out where to go for help. This agent has one other on his "staff" and is the president of his company.

Matthew Rende is bound to hurt another unknowing buyer with his practices.
